Disney World Day 4 - Magic Kingdom - Birthday celebration day!

Friday was supposed to be our big birthday celebration day for the girls! They woke up to letters that "Cinderella" had left for them under our door...inviting them to breakfast with them at the castle!! Screams of excitement followed! :)

Princesses dressed and ready to head to the Magic Kingdom and to Cinderella's castle!

In line at the Castle waiting for our "Royal family" to get their official invitation!
Ali was so excited when she spotted Gus and Jaq....up high on the wall!

They could not believe they were meeting THE Cinderella! :)

Our Royal table! We loved our table b/c we had a window seat and were the 4th table in the Princess rotation!

This was Ali's signature look for all of the pictures we took! She was so excited but the pose that she learned to do (throughout ALL the pictures she had to pose for) did not quite show the excitement! :)

Making a wish during the "Wishing ceremony!"

On our way out!
Cinderella's Castle breakfast really was one of my favorite memories of our trip - although, honestly, all of our Character meals were pretty exciting so it would be hard to choose the best one! They just made you feel so special (well, they should for the price!" and gave us a "free" picture, got to meet all of the princesses, had a delicious meal, and the girls got magic wands and wishing stars. It was such a neat, special experience!

And, on to the carousel....again!

Rhodes broke out into an impromptu dance routine in the middle of the park - when she's happy, the girl loves to sing, dance and clap! :)
Train ride around the park!
The girls were excited we could see our hotel from the train!
We got off at the main gate to make it to the dance party by Cinderella's castle! The girls LOVED it! Definitely one of their favorite parts of the whole trip - getting to see some of their favorite characters and sing, dance, clap with them! :) You will notice that we changed the girls in the middle of the street out of their hot, uncomfortable princess dresses into a random outfit I had packed just in case! :) Rhodes was thirsty so she was splitting a sprite with her sister!
And was caught switching over to her Mama's diet coke!
Our girls love to dance!

In the conga line!
Skipping over to Minnie's house!
And another one of Ali's favorites.....Goofy's Barnstormer!

Toontown playground!
Rhodes woke up from her nap to a Mickey Mouse shaped ice cream sandwich - had to get a picture of these two eating this - it was a disaster!
We were SO excited about finally seeing the parade and AS it was starting, a massive downpour began! We stayed for a few seconds but when the girls started to get wet, we made a run for it! Ryan and I were completely drenched! (Even though we had had a brief one earlier and my Mom bought 4 ponchos, we had accidentally left them with her and we had just separated moments before!!) We almost made it to the gate and the rain cooled off, so we stopped and watched it! It was a cute parade, but would have been more fun if we were less wet and a little more comfortable! :) Ugh - what an awful feeling! After that, we headed back to the hotel to dry off and take a rest!

And got an invitation for Chef Mickey's from Mickey himself!! Again, soo excited!
Chef Mickey's was such a treat! It was convenient (in the lobby of the Contemporary that was just a sky way bridge away from our room!), and had all of the girls favorites - Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy! The girls LOVED it! (and so did all of the adults!)

It was also a great place to celebrate! They made a big production of it - everyone grabbed their napkins (including the characters) and waved them around as they sang a song and announced a birthday! The girls got really into it...

We think Pluto might have been Rhodeso's favorite!! She was SO giddy when he arrived!
Pure excitement!

She also was quite the Donald fan! :)

Dancing girls!

The girls birthday celebration!
Even though it had been a somewhat rainy/overcast day and we didn't know what the night would bring, I was dying to go back to the Magic Kingdom for one last night there! (Nighttime is my favorite time there!) My parents watched Rhodesy and Ryan and I took Ali back for one last night trip. The Monorail had broken in one direction, so we got lucky and were able to catch it going the opposite direction - which meant the first stop was the Magic Kingdom from our hotel! It was so fun being there and running around doing all of the rides with no wait! (everyone was watching the electrical parade, which we had already seen!)

We rode Dumbo, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, Race cars (can't think of the right name right now), and closed down the park with Goofy's Barnstormer (we were the last ones on it!). Monsters Inc was the one ride we hadn't ridden yet and Ryan and I were on the verge of tears we were laughing so hard during it. (I was NOT expecting it to be as funny as it was - I guess it depends on the audience, but ours was hilarious!) We knew we would have one more day back at the MK, but after leaving that night, we had ridden all of the rides we wanted, including all of Ali's favorites that we had ridden at least 3-4 times! :) Ryan and I had even gotten a chance to ride all of the big rides - Space, Thunder and Splash Mountain, thanks to my parents! We caught the fireworks as we walked out of the park and rode the Monorail home! A long day, but a very fun day!
