All Afloat on Noah's Boat!

Ali had her first school performance last Tuesday (March 23rd) called All Afloat on Noah's Boat! All of the 2's, 3's and 4's gathered in FBC's sanctuary for the big performance and sang a few songs. The 2's had to wear red shirts and I had the hardest time finding a plain red shirt - but finally, the day before, found a boy's red t-shirt for Ali and her friend, Caroline - I'm just not used to seeing Ali in something like that but she still looked cute! (of course!) Here are a few pictures of Ali and some of her friends during the performance....I caught her singing a few times - but there were many points throughout the performance where she was just looking around and yawning! :) I'm just impressed they sat there the entire time!

Happy St. Patrick's Day from the Patricks!

Just a few pictures of my little precious leprechauns...

I turn my back on Rhodes for maybe 1 minute - and this is where she goes...Miss Mischievous! She keeps me on my toes and makes me laugh constantly - love this girl! Silly green sisters
My precious Rhodes...
A real Ali smile - I love it! :)_

Ali kept wanting me to take a picture of her holding her bitty bear book....

Rhodes, on the other hand, kept trying to steal the camera from me - a picture of her grabbing the strap while I was trying to take pictures!!

Hope your St. Patty's was filled with lots of good luck! :)

First trip to SSI in 2010

This past weekend, my mom and I decided to take the girls down to the beach for a long getaway. It was a nice break from reality with lots of good eating and some shopping! I can not wait until warmer weather there - Ali has started swim lessons and is really into swimming lately. Rhodes LOVED being on the beach. We really did not take her on it much last year - so it was pretty much brand new to her and she was in awe when I took her on it. She kept running towards the waves and running backwards when she would get wet. Ali stayed a little farther back in the sand and danced on the beach - makes me so excited to think about the summer we have ahead of us with these two on the beach!

Aquarium 2010

We had a great day today and a fun spur of the moment trip to the Aquarium after church! Here are some pictures from our day....it was one of those days that I want to freeze in my memory and never forget!
The girls loved looking at all of the different fish. It was Rhodes' first visit to the Aquarium and she kept saying "Whoa" or screaming at the fish - I think she was trying to talk to them...it was so fun to watch these two!

Grabbing a quick bite to eat in the middle - and trying to get a good picture of my girls!

They were doing a special preview today of the Barbie Mermaid movie (I'm not sure what the exact name was) Ali kept wanting to go see it at one of the sneak previews while we were there - but I didn't think it would be a good/fun idea with a 1 year old and a 3 year old. As part of the promotion, though, they gave out neon hair extensions, some hand tattoos and had free painting - so we took advantage of all of these instead! Here is a picture of Ali showing off her beautiful new neon green hair extension and barbie mermaid hand tattoo!
I think this little cave was the girls' favorite part - especially Rhodes! She did NOT want to get back in her stroller after this one - I think she could have gone back and forth in this cave for hours! They were so cute playing together and giggling together!!! If there weren't a thousand people around - I probably would have watched them play all day long too! :)

There was one little part of the cave where they could peep out at us - this is my favorite picture from the day!
The girls loved watching all of the different fish float above us and around us in the tunnel!

Ali was so excited to get her face painted - we had to wait in a long line and Ryan chased Rhodes up and down the halls of the Aquarium - but we finally made it to the front of the line! Ali decided she wanted to get her face painted like a mermaid princess.Ta da - the Mermaid princess!
Ali wanted us to take a picture of her on this - but, turn out the thing she is looking at is a mirror and she could barely take her eyes of off her reflection to smile for the camera! :)

Ali and Deepo (Rhodes was in the stroller about to crash at any second so that's why she missed the photo op!)

2010 so far - in mobile uploads...

As life would have it, I rarely have my camera on me during daily activities. But, in these high tech times, of course I always have my iphone! Ali LOVES to take pictures on it and she is becoming quite the photographer on it - between the pictures of the hardwood floor/rugs, tv, couch, teddy bears - I love when I go through my phone and find pictures she has taken of me or Ryan or Rhodes! (And, yes, Ryan gets so mad at me b/c I let the girls play with my phone every now and then - I'm sure all of the people that get prank calls from Rhodes love it too!)

Anyway - I thought I would update the blog with some of my favorite pictures on my iphone right now, so here you go! A few shots from the Patrick's daily life...

Being silly for the camera...

Rhodesy loves her yogurt!

Lots of pictures of sweet sisters...

Snow!

My friend, Shannon, and I were in charge of Ali's class Valentine's Day party at school. I wish I had more pictures, but it was so much fun and the kids were too cute!

My personal favorite Valentine in the class..

Family PJ night at Chick-fil-A....Rhodes giving the cow a high 5!

Sweet Ali telling the Cow hello!

Four little monkeys....

Rhodes' new favorite place to be - on the toilet, next to me, while I put on my makeup. This is the first time I caught her there - after I had walked out of the room, she climbed up and started going through my makeup, throwing it on the floor! Oh, Rhodes! :)

And another one of her favorite things to find, the minute I turn my back! :) Love that girl! (and her sister!)
