Candid shots!

Baxter sometimes gets left out of the blog - so I wanted to include a picture of him this time around. He is very dirty and needs a bath, so, today I told him I was going to give him a bath and he went and hid under our couch b/c he did not want a bath! Then, he stuck his head out and it was so cute (and sad!) so I had to take a picture. Unfortunately, I could not find the camera fast enough, even though he was sitting like this for awhile, so this is not a very good picture - but, you get the idea! He's a sweet boy!Ryan took some candid pictures of Ali after she had dinner. She ate in just her diaper tonight b/c she can get very messy with dinner (and is still very messy in these pictures - even her diaper has food on it!). Ryan told me he wiped off her face - but it looks like he may have missed a spot! :) And, yes, without the frilly outfits or big pink bows - some crazy people may mistake Ali for a boy - the bald head really throws people off! But, I think she has a very feminine face (curtosy of Ryan!) - so people must be crazy to think this little face is a little boy! As you can see, Ali is really into everything - but, her favorite toy of all is my wallet/purse! If there are a million toys sitting next to her and my wallet is across the room - she will walk/crawl across the room to get it and take everything out and hold the credit cards and money in the air!! Looks like we may be in for trouble when she gets to be a little older! The girl loves money! :)

p.s. Ali made her debut in the newspaper today! In the "Lifestyle" section of the Marietta Daily Journal - they had a section of pictures from Around Cobb. She is pictured with my parents at a neighborhood BBQ as a "special guest"!

Time for Pumpkins!

Today, we took a trip to the Pumpkin Patch with Ali's friend Libby and her parents. It was a lot of fun!! We dressed Ali and Libby up in their matching dresses and then switched over to their Halloween costumes in the middle of the field of pumpkins. They were like two peas in a pod, although they look like complete opposites! It is so fun to get to do little things like this, now that we have Ali in our lives!

Ali, the ladybug, and Libby, the peacock, were not too happy with the costumes on their head and kept trying to pull them off! Anna Margaret - look in the background of this picture (you may have to click on it to make it bigger) - I just noticed - it's your nephew and brother in law! small world.

The girls kept staring at eachother - I think they were thinking "who/what is that crazy thing looking at me?"Ali loves to ride on her daddy's shoulders! Little Ali in a field of pumpkins!

Pictures below...

Oops - I accidentally erased my whole post (to go along with the pictures below Libby's birthday party pics) and then accidentally posted everything! Oops!! Here is what I had written:

Just wanted to update the blog with some new pictures of Ali playing around. She is already 11 months - only one more month until her 1st birthday!! She is becoming quite the little person every day! (I think I say this every time) I forgot to mention last time that about a month ago - she started giving me kisses! She just opens her mouth wide and puts it on my face and pulls away making a "mmmmaa" noise. It's so cute and full of slobber! (that part is not so cute!) Thish week we have realized that she is saying "bye bye". Today, she put her purse on her arm (like I do) and started waving and saying "bye bye". Very funny! Here are some updated pictures of her from this past week and today!

Ali - 11 months

Ali's cute friend, Libby, just had her first birthday party! We had so much fun - but, as you can see in the picture, Ali did not want to get her picture taken!
