You better watch out, you better not pout!

We took Ali yesterday to go see Santa at Phipps. We had to make the appointment months in advance and thought about getting a video of it all to start a tradition - but then we started thinking about it and realized that she may not be to happy and a pictures would be plenty - and we were right!! She was so anxious in line to walk around and get up there, but then, when it was our turn, she started looking at him like "Who is this scary man?" and it was downhill from there. Ryan and I each took one of her hands and walked her up to him and she sloooooowwwllly took a few steps and when she was almost there she just stood still and would not go any farther and started making a terrified face. If she could talk, I am pretty sure she would have said - Get this scary man away from me! Here are a few pictures. She was so sad - it broke my heart watching her there crying but Santa was SOO nice (I see why people are so anxious to get in with him!) and told me not to worry and that she will look back and laugh at this years from now. All in all, it really was sooo cute though and we had a good time! (except for the few minutes of Ali being terrified!)
Only a few minutes after the terror of meeting Santa, Ali is cool, calm, and collected with her mama and daddy! :)
Afterwards, we walked around the mall and Ali was fascinated by the fountains of flowing water! I had to keep a tight grip on her though - to make sure she didn't jump in!
