Happy Halloween!

She's FOUR!

I can't believe my baby girl is FOUR years old!  Time flies when you're having fun - and we sure have been with our little Wooga!  She brings us so much joy and laughter - if we could only have a tape recorder to record all of the funny/smart/witty little things that come out of her sweet, toothless mouth!  We love her so much and loved celebrating her on her big day! Happy birthday sweet Rhodesy - we love you to the moon and back!

Thankful for my little family!

With my baby already turning 7 months and my big girl starting Kindergarten, I am quickly realizing how fleeting these little moments are and I am making myself sit down and soak it all up as much as possible.  I am really trying to enjoy every little minute as much as I can!  I adore these three little smiles (and their daddy!) more than words! :)

7 months old...

Look who's 7 months old!!!

 How can my baby be closer to a 1 year old than he is to just being born???

 He is a busy body that loves to grab everything he can find and put everything in his mouth!

He still has 2 bottom front teeth - but, we think he may be getting more soon - he is definitely more fussy and teething these days!  I just want to press pause on time when I hear him in the back seat as we drive around in car pools, practicing his "Ma ma ma mas" and "Da da da das" and "Ba ba ba bas" and something that sounds like "I luh luh luhs".  The sweetest sound to this mama's ears!  He gets sad when his mama leaves the room and when I take away the iphone or remote control he is trying to eat - and he laughs a lot at his sisters and daddy!  Still the apple of our eyes and these 7 months have flown by! 

Half a year!!

My handsome man is 6 months old, I can't believe it!  He is such a happy man that brings so much joy to all of our lives!

I don't think I ever posted his 5 month pictures - isn't he a cutie? :)

 And he has two sisters (and two parents and four grandparents, etc) that adore him!

 When Beck turned 5 months, we started him on solids and it was love at first bite!  The boy loves to eat and  has eaten carrots, sweet potatoes, green beans, peas, squash, apples, bananas, pears and avocados...and seems to love them all! :)

 He is so laid back and full of laughs!  He goes with the flow as we run carpools and falls asleep where he can! :)  He is sitting up and rolling over all over the place! :)

 He just laughs and laughs at these silly girls!

He is a squealer and a charmer - he loves to laugh and smile. He is a grabber and a mover and even though he sits up - he easily knocks himself down when he gets filled with excitement and laughter (it takes over his entire body!) or when he tries to find something to grab!  He has two bottom teeth and brings so much joy to this household! :) Happy 6 months Beckaroni and cheese!

Rhodes goes to 3K!

This past Monday (8/20), about a week and a half after Ali started school and completely ready, Rhodes started school!!!  She has a precious class this year with two fantastic teachers (and friends of ours!), Ms. Brittany and Ms. Laura!  We are so excited about what this year has in store for our Wooga and love her so!!!

Getting ready for Kindergarten!

My baby girl has started Kindergarten!!  There were a lot of tears at first (from her mama) and some adjustments to be made - but, she is absolutely loving it and having fun making new friends!!  I still can not believe it - but, I am so happy to be 2 weeks in and through the transition! :)

When we got back from the beach, Ali went to 2 days of Kinder-camp at West Side and ran into some of her best buds from preschool walking in!

We did lots of fun things leading up to Kindergarten to enjoy our time together and get ready for this big step!  Ali's favorite (and mine!) was definitely a little painting class we went to together - just the two of us.  She was in Heaven and I was so proud of my little artist!:) Our morning was definitely one I will always treasure!!

We were excited to do the "Kindergarten Kruise" on the bus - just a little test ride on the bus route with all of Ali's little Kindergarten buddies that also are on our bus. It is a cute little route and stops at lots of our friends houses...and we had such a fun little morning on the ride.  It was funny b/c this family of snoozers has been in for a wake-up call with the early start time of Kindergarten.  When we got to the bus stop that morning at 7:25 am, Ali was creeped out by how quiet it was and said "It's so weird being out in the middle of the night!!" ha!

Rise and shine...it's time for Kindergarten!!!

I cried the entire way out of the school...leaving that sweet face behind...but she LOVED it!  I am so proud of her.  I could not wait for 3:15 to roll around and to see her smile! Of course...this is where we sat for about 20 minutes in anticipation....and where we sit most days!! I love our new house and everything about it...but, every day around 3:00, I start missing our old house! That walk to and from school sure would be nice! :)

We got our girl and she had a great day!!!

We met up with some friends at Rita's after school to celebrate our first day!

First time officially at the bus stop - we didn't end up riding it in the end - but she sure looked cute! :)

I feel like Ali has already grown up and become more independent just in her first 12 days! So glad to be at such a wonderful school and looking forward to a great year!!
